Octobill sends SMS text messages on behalf of merchants to their customers who have opted in. Messages are transactional in nature and relate to account activity, merchant communications, or billing events: invoices & billing, payment confirmations, subscription activity, loyalty & rewards, proposals, and account security.
Octobill collects explicit, affirmative SMS consent before sending any text messages. Consent is never assumed, inferred, or bundled with general account registration. The checkbox is unchecked by default and constitutes express written consent under the TCPA. Consent is never a condition of purchasing services.

Reply STOP, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any Octobill message to opt out immediately. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. You may also disable SMS notifications in your Octobill merchant dashboard or email support@octobill.app with your mobile number for manual removal within 24 hours.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.
Your mobile number and SMS consent record are stored securely by Octobill solely for the purpose of delivering the transactional messages described in Section 01. Consent records are retained for a minimum of four (4) years. Octobill does not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
Octobill may update this SMS Terms and Opt-In Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, we will notify enrolled users via email or in-platform notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
